Firemen’s Chili

2 #10 cans of Crushed Tomatoes

1 small can of Tomatoe Paste

3 – 15 oz cans of Beans, drained (1 black bean, 1 kidney, 1 cannelloni)

4 (+) TBSP Chili Powder

1 (+) TBSP Cayenne Pepper

1/2 bottle of Craft Beer, preferably stout

1 lb Gound Beef 

1 Bell Pepper (any color) chopped

2 medium Onions chopped

1/2 (+) Jalapeno Pepper finely chopped

Kernals from 2 Ears of Corn

Salt & Pepper to taste

Grated Cheddar Cheese

Saute onions in a cooking pot. Add beef and brown. Add beer and simmer. Add tomatoes and paste, cayenne pepper, chili powder. Add chopped peppers (can add more cayenne pepper, chili powder and chopped jalapeno, if you like it hot. Add corn and beans. add salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 45 more minutes on medium heat, stirring so it does not scorch. Can be cooked all day in a large crock pot.  Sprinkle with cheddar cheese when serving.
